My chinchilla ate some avocado, what can i do?

Help! My chinchilla ate some avocado skin and fruit, the size of fingernail.

 

I read that avocado is poisonous for chinchilla, so what can i do to help?

I've never heard of this but I would just monitor and if you're concerned then take him/her to the vet.
